1. The million pigs in the house ("it's like living in a zoo of pigs!")
2. Mexican mangoes ("they smell funny")
3. Paying $6 for grapes in the grocery store (too much--very ugly!)
4. Thai food in the thai restaurant ("not yummy and too expensive!")
5. Infomercials (look interesting at first, then they say 'CALL NOW!'")
6. Using the clothes dryer ("there are many sun outside!')

I agree- good for her! :) If it weren't for the fact that Seattle is crazy rainy 9 months out of the year, I'd try to air-dry all my laundry. Actually, maybe I'll try that this summer, at least. We'll fit right in with the neighbors if I string a line up from the front porch!

That is too bad the Thai restaurant doesn't satisfy. And I agree about mangoes, but what's all the pigs about - ceramic and such, I suppose. Seems to me I remember you had a pig icon. Could you tell her Americans believe pigs are good luck?

Well, this seems like a very sensible woman to me. (I am in the process of weeding out what I don't like or believe in.)
I pray your neighborhood doesn't have a rule against clothes lines. If so, it is time to amend the policy.
