57035--a day behind
We took a drive to Luxembourg. It was rainy, and the city roads were narrow and treacherous. We had a hard time finding anything, including the way overpriced Thai restaurant Malida wanted to try. I spent the entire day fretting about the car I borrowed, concerned that I would hit a slick spot and spin out or something.
On our way back to Germany, we stopped in Ettlebruck to take a picture of the George Patton statue at the entrance to the town. I had been here once before 35 years ago, and wanted to get a picture.

We ended up on a small country road that dead-ended, and had to turn back, only to be detoured off the road we got on. I was stressed.
We finally made it back to Trier just as it was getting dark. I breathed a sigh of relief as I turned into the parking garage, hit a sharp curb as I turned in, and ripped a big hole in the tire. Sigh.
We're back in Frankfurt, but I'm still stressed.
