As I was getting my cameras ready for the Oregon trip, I found a few shots that I had forgotten to download from our day in Yosemite a few weeks ago. They are of some climbers practicing near where we ate lunch. They aren't very high up, but I do enjoy watching how they do it. When we stay in Yosemite, we rent a house from a climber, and there's all sorts of climbing-related stuff in the house.
We submitted Malida's citizenship application a few weeks ago, and got some correspondence from them in the mail today giving her an appointment for getting her fingerprints and photograph taken. It's the day after we get back from our trip. Good thing I checked the mail. If you don't show up, they treat it as if you have abandoned the process. I'm not sure why they need her fingerprints again, as it is part of the process for getting the green card. I suppose if there wasn't useless duplication, it just wouldn't be the government.
The new Black Keys album, Turn Blue, is my new favorite album. It is so good. It's one of those albums you can listen to from beginning to end. If you like rock 'n roll, you should check it out. Before this album came out, I hadn't listened to them much, and only had a few of their songs, but that's all changed now.
