I started watching The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu last night, and had a dystopian dream. I forget what was happening in the dream, but it was kind of disconcerting. I don't mind disconcerting dreams, as long as they don't feature the ghost of the Statue of Liberty.
When I was a kid, I watched a cartoon where some bad guys stole the top half of the Statue of Liberty, and the ghost of the top half came and told the good guy (maybe it was Underdog) where it was hidden. For days I had nightmares that the ghost of the Statue of Liberty was in my bedroom coming toward me.
I also have recurring dreams about a supermarket parking lot.
Anyway, the first episode was good, and I will pace out watching the rest of the season. I'm not a big binge tv watching person. I'm not really a tv watching person at all. Maybe because Malida is always binge-watching some Korean drama.
This is a picture from about 12 years ago when I used to wander around Sacramento taking pictures of everything I saw. It was along the side of a house where there was a Thai massage place. The entire yard was decorated with interesting things. It's long gone now.
