I did check my course site and made sure everything is ready to go. It is supposed to open tomorrow for the students, but I found that it was already open. I guess it is shut down for maintenance tomorrow, so they opened it a day early. I still have 10 students who have not registered for the course. I put up some notices about things they have to have completed before the first day of class. We jump right in on the first day and, as I have noted previously, it is a roller coaster ride that doesn't stop until the end of the semester.
I ordered some shirts for the coming semester. I tend to wear the same kind of shirt over and over. That way I don't have to think about it. I order two of each. Same with pants. I miss the days when I wore scrubs, and never had to think about what to wear.
Malida got me a sweatshirt for Christmas, and it is one of the most comfortable garments I have ever worn. I sent her back to get two more of the same. I'm wearing one now, and hoping the cold weather lasts forever.
I was looking at someone's beautiful pictures of some frozen stuff and mentioned that I would like to spend a season in really cold weather. Not sure how I can make that happen. Maybe once I retire, I can rent a house for a season. Malida would love spending a season in the snow. The dream of a Thailand girl who spent most of her life experiencing only two seasons: hot and hotter.
No pictures today, but one from the other day after I came home from hiking.

My left foot, kind of dusty.
