I got up early today after a good night's sleep, had a cup of coffee, and went in to my office to tackle this accreditation stuff. I worked on it for close to 8 hours, and got most of it done. I will do the same tomorrow, and finish that sucker up.
It was quiet there--I was the only one around for miles and miles. It started raining pretty hard after I got there, and rained pretty much the entire day. By the time I left, it was also really windy, and it blew my umbrella apart.
Now I am home, having a nice cup of tea and listening to the storm raging outside.
I feel like I am all caught up on my sleep, and pretty much back to normal after my cold. I slept a solid 8 hours last night, and my sleep app tells me it was a good sleep. It feels good to be well rested. I think I will try to go to bed fairly early during the semester, and see how I feel.
I am on page 506 of the second book of the Mars trilogy I am reading. I wasn't sure I would even read the second volume after slogging through 600 or so pages of the first, but I actually like the second one better, and am enjoying it. There is one more in the series, and then I have two new books to dive into, both non-fiction.
As I was writing the last paragraph, the power went out in our neighborhood, but stayed out for only a few minutes. I have this computer plugged into a surge protector/battery backup, so it didn't go out, and I didn't lose my entry. yay.
